Installing Modern Bed Sets Queen
Modern bed sets queen are basic wooden panels that fit over the frame perpendicular to the side rails. Usually there are at least three wooden slats, although you can get more if desired. The purpose of the bed slats is to provide additional support for the mattress to prevent it from sinking over time. If you have a modern bed sets queen with slats that have been broken, or if you just want new, building them is a cheap task.
Remove sheets, blankets and pillows from modern bed sets queen and set them aside. Then move the mattress and box spring out of the way with the help of another person. Step inside modern bed sets queen and place a measuring tape on the inside of the left rail. Keep the tape measure in place and stretch it over to the inside of the right rail.
Lay least three two-by-4 boards on a desk and use the tape measure to locate the predetermined width of the slat. Mark the location with a pencil. Don goggles and respirator. Slide the board over the edge of the workbench until the pencil line is clearly free from the surface. Cut along the pencil line using a handsaw or chainsaw. Repeat the process to cut the other two boards.
Take modern bed sets queen slats back inside the house and put them in the frame perpendicular to the side rails. Space each slat at the same distance to support the weight evenly. Insert a quarter-inch drill bit in a drill to create a hole in the end of each louver where it sits on the wood cleat attached to the rail.
